G-Cloud 12 is a UK public sector framework for Cloud computing services covering 3 areas; hosting, software and cloud support on a commodity based, pay-as-you go service. The framework was awarded on the 2nd July 2019 and runs for 12 months.

7FC LLP has been awarded the framework for its iSite cloud software solution that includes property and asset management, projects and programme management and industry leading insight and intelligence reporting. The cloud software lot includes Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, usually accessed over the internet or private network and hosted in the cloud.

iSite’s cloud software services can be procured through the Digital Marketplace through a simple 6 step process. The listing includes a summary of the service with key features and benefits along with more detailed information on support, hosting, security and resilience. Governance, standards and certifications are described in the listing and form part of the award process. Each service has standard terms of license and hosting along with a basic pricing matrix for transparency.

The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) that runs the free to use framework is the largest public procurement organisation in the UK. They list advantages to buyers such as competitive prices for large volumes, regular vetting of suppliers and standardised contract terms across the framework to significantly reduce administration. Key benefits include a quick and easy route to market, scalable services, reduced total cost of service compared to in-house operations and access to the latest technology.

Carl Moore, Director at Prime iSite Limited commented:

‘iSite has been developed over 10 years to provide a more user friendly, easier to deploy and more secure system with stronger governance and control. This is our fourth consecutive year on the framework and is testament to how we have stayed ahead of the strict standards and certification required by the CCS and expected by our clients’.
